Developing a shared understanding

We are a collective of teachers, system leaders, and researchers, united by our passion for creating sustainable systems of support. This site is designed to foster a shared understanding across Australian schools on how to implement an Integrated Multi-Tiered System of Support, ensuring every school can meet the needs of all students effectively and sustainably.

Meet the Team

Dr Matthew White

Matthew White is a lecturer and researcher in Inclusive Education. He is an experienced teacher and school system leader. He has held roles guiding inclusive education and school attendance. His research centres on the interconnection of school wellbeing and inclusion, with a strong emphasis on multi-tiered system of supports and supporting students with attendance difficulties. His PhD study “Support for Students with Learning Difficulties Through a Universal Intervention Framework” examined the effectiveness of a systems approach to supporting the academic self-concept of adolescents with learning difficulties”. Matthew is particularly passionate about implementation science and the embedding of effective practices across educational settings.

Dr Adam Feinberg

Adam Feinberg is a senior advisor for the PBIS track and an Educational Consultant and Licensed Psychologist in Massachusetts. Adam specializes in supporting districts and schools in the development and implementation of Multi- Tiered Systems and Supports (MTSS) as well as Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS). He has previously served as the Northeast PBIS Network Director, as well as held faculty positions at the University of Connecticut and University of Massachusetts-Boston. His research and clinical interests include the application of Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports in urban areas, with a focus on developing and supporting coaching knowledge, skills, and networks. Adam earned his Ph.D. in school psychology from Lehigh University, and currently is a Doctoral level Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
